    Android G1 Phone - RC33 1.1 firmware update OTA on Fido

    My unlocked G1 T-Mobile, running on the Fido network, did an over the air update to RC33, aka firmware 1.1, last Friday.

    The voice based search feature is lots of fun, and loving the Android marketplace app update feature. Now we just need the Cupcake, onscreen keyboard (oh, and Chinese 中文 input please!) firmware update!

    According to Gizmodo, it looks like the update are coming directly from HTC. So the G1's must be doing a little bit of phone home to get these.
